Ify completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Bowen University. She proceeded to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Nursing (Leadership in Health Care Policy and Education) from Ryerson University, renamed Toronto Metropolitan University. She completed the NSWOC program through the Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) Institute. Also, she has a certificate in Advanced Foot Care Management from Mohawk College.
